I allways wanted a superglide even in my sport bike days. I like the ole' time look of them without being overly chromed. I do like black motors but the silver has grown on me. I would love for Harley to reinstate the superglide sport which is my favorite but with all the pluses of the 07's.

The SuperGlide is the SportSter on steroids.
In the late 1960s the Sporty rolled off the showroom floor at about 70HP.
And we ran em up from there.
The SuperGlide today is probably about 55HP, but now we have the SERT.
I picked the SuperGlide specifically for the lack of shine, the silver motor,
and the prospect of being able to modify it to my own needs, and taste.

Its probably the most versitle bike off all the Big Twins. It can be Bobbed, it can be chromed out, or blacked out. Ive even seen them made into pretty good touring bikes as well. It definately gives a great platform for customizing.

the only thing i don't like is the rear fork mounted to the tranny, which in turn is rubber mounted, can make the rear feel funny in a turn sometimes
