Starter issues
When my bike is cold, its starts up no problem. But when hot, like after stop for gas and try to start, it sometimes makes the high pitched grinding sound about 50% of the time. If I wait a minute, it will then start.
Whats the problem? Is the starter going bad? 2007 FXDC about 20k miles on it. 204 SE Cams.

Welcome to the club. My 07 Low Rider started doing that every now and then, but only after the bike was warmed up, like after a ride and stopping for a little while. Sounds like the Bendix drive is going south. I guess I will have to take a look at it eventually....
