How does everyone like their 2012 Wide Glides with the 103 motor? Do you notice a substantial power increase compared to the 96 cu. in. motors, or any heat issues? Also, I hear there is a problem with Vance and Hines pipes fitting the new Wide Glides due to the o2 sensors. Any truth to that? Just one more thing; Has anyone figured out a way to mount the license plate on the rear fender without buying a turn signal relocation kit? I don't particularly care for the looks of the side mount.
I have the Great Bike Gear mount, as shown in P51Bombay's post. I suppose you could fabricate something similar, with or without relocating the turn signals. The GBG kit is simple because you use the existing license plate lamp.
I've considered adding a tail-light with a built-in license bracket, but I'm still happy with the GBG kit.
Even if I was only doing the License plate relo and leaving the turn signals where they were I'd probably go with the Great Gear Kit or take the time to fabricate my own that put the plate in the same place.
Yeah, that's what I'm looking for...thanks. Beautiful bike and pictures too. I really like the wheels. Take care.
Oops, I meant I like the pipes. The factory wheels look good too though. Have fun and watch out for the idiot drivers.
