Default HD Detachable sissy bar

Ok what the hell can I do to take the rattle outa this thing?Just installed it today and at stop and go traffic the thing rattles like a jug of pennies.What can I do besides take it off when I'm goin solo?

try rotating the nub on the mounting kit 90 deg. or wrapping some black tape around them.

Revised: if its new rotating it is not going to help

1 layer of electrical tape where it mounts at the rear worked for me.

Mine new detachable sissy bar does the same thing, I'll try the tape too.

Check the screws holding the backrest in the mount. I had mine a week and noticed a rattle behind me... when I checked it, one of the screws on the left side had vibrated out and was gone, and the other was only there because the seat kept it from coming all the way out. They really need some loctite.

I took it off and pulled the bottom half of the bar at the detachable locks apart just far enough to make it fit tighter in the post so far so good

I was about to say that mine fits so tight, it's hard to get off and on. I have to squeeze it a little when putting it on and then hammer the cam things in place with my hand.
