As most of you may know I just built me a new building for my bike. It's built with wood and is completely air tight, with the exception of the door. The problem I'm having is: It sits in there all day without anyone opening the door while I'm at work, I come home open the door and my bike is cover with moisture. Is it because I have no ventilation? The temperatures here have been 30s-40s morning lows and 45s-55s highs mid day. I started out putting a bed sheet over it but that held in the moisture even longer. Anyone have any ideas how to stop this?

This may not sound right, but it works. Go out and buy a coupld bags of charcole brickets, the stuff you use on a BBQ grill, lay the bags flat on the floor, and cut them open. They will absorb the water in the air.
Cool, ill give it a shot my bikes get alot of moisture as well. Mt brother has an old shovel and his has baan in his shed for years, every winter it sits and gets lots of moisture and no problems. I think it looks worse than it really is.

I have also heard of people spraying their chrome with WD-40 for the winter then wipe it off in the spring.
