risers vs. taller apes?

It's not simply fashion over function to use short risers with tall apes, it's called leverage. The shorter the riser the more solid the mount. Keep the pivot point as low as possible.
But yes tall risers on tall apes also looks very amateurish.

do you have a pic of the stock bars with 4" rise?

Tall bars and tall risers, don't look right in my book, go taller bars and internal wiring and you won't regret it

I can snap one for you in the morning. It's been pointed out about risers moving the pivot point of the bars up and I could see that being a problem however the riser I have is angled at the bottom then the bars are straight in relation to the riser so it's basically the same as having longer bars with pivot on top of the triple tree. And I surf the forums on my phone so if anyone wants pics I need an email address to send it to
