Ridgid Bob??
If you go with the wide tire kit, look into a right side drive. Having to offset the sprockets, clutch basket, etc. ain't the best engineering practice. Balanced drivetrain works best, and puts less stress on things.
Look at mounting the rear fender straight to the swingarm. It'll get it close to the tire and look a lot better than the same-o, same-o cookie-cutter fenders mounted to the frame.

My only concern with that idea will be whether or not I can put a lickem and stick em seat on the fender still need to have a place for the fender bunnies lol. I have looked at the right side drive and I've heard it both ways. The kits I'm looking at comes with the thinline machined parts I'm told and suposably has all the correct geometry which is the one real benifit to kit buying my math isn't that good lol.
Steelcowboy, I'm with you. I also have a bob and am trying to decide what size wide tire kit to go with. I didn't buy the bob strictly for the "Old School Bobber" look, but for the bare bones, stripped down, with a black engine and not so much chrome it looks like a harley catalog bike. Being a drag racer i want mine to be short, wide, and long, the look of a pro stock bike on a dyna frame. So I think you are going in the right direction with your.
Sorry for no pic still figuring it out
