There both great bikes.
It in my book come down to what kind of riding will you be doing most of the time?
If that didn’t work flip a coin, how can you loose?

Looks to me like the man (Briano) ask a legitimate question.
If you read the post it says nothing about fruit.
If you don’t understand it why reply?

Reason: sp
Once my wife got her own bike i traded my bagger for a Street Bob, totally different ride, on Dyna lots more wind, bugs and rocks but handling is way better not that great on long rides, RK is better for two up riding and longer rides.
of the two i love my SB,
just my opinion......
It's true when you compare apple to apple, apple always wins.
To be honest, Roadking is always my dream Harley beside Fatboy, I have ridden one and it's nice and comfy, saying that doesn't make me own one, why? The riding season is about 7 months here I live, I ride my scoot to work everyday when the sun is out, don't have time for week tour, seldom do 2-up, I don't think RK is the right bike for me. I like my Streetbob, light and quick, I can still do 400 miles and up day trip without any problem, no floorboard scraping and clearance issue. If I can have 2 yes RK will be one of them, it's not that I can't afford 2 but I have no time to take care of both, not unless I live in SoCal and ride all year long lol. To finish it, buy what you like not what ppl think, fair enough? Look at my FB and SB pic, which one is better? Damn! I compare apple and orange again!
Great comments. I appreciate your honesty.I'm still torn. I'm probably leaning toward the RK, only because it's best for 2 up and it's cool to have bags to carry food, water, and extra clothing or whatever. But for shear coolness, the LR is my fave. I hate being indecisive. Lol.
for 2 up I think you will like the road king better. I have to disagree with those who say the SB is not as comfortable for long trips . I have ridden my SB 675 miles in one day and its the most comfortable bike I have ever been on. But I ride solo all the time. So I have to agree that solo SB , 2 up can be done on streetbob after some mods but wife/girlfriend will like the RK better. For sheer attitude and fun cant beat a SB for a single rider.
