I just blew out the third bulb on my left rear running light. It is always the left rear and always the low brightness running light filament. Was thinking the voltage reg may be goofy but that would affect all lights, not just that particular one. Anybody have this problem or have any ideas as to what is causing it? Thanks

Yes I have the same problem. Service writer at the HD dealer says they got a memo from MoCo that there are many bad bulbs coming through the system and there is no way to detect the bad from the good. Are you getting the replacement bulbs from a HD dealer? If so try buying from a auto parts store, maybe they don't have the same supplier.
The only light I burned out on my 2011 WG was the left rear. Seems like it's pretty common in the last few years. I'm thinking it's a bike problem, not a bulb problem.
Same problem with my 12 Wide Glide, then started having security light and fuel gauge issues. They finally replaced the whole signal assembly and no problems since.
