Planning to go to the dealer on Saturday, buy a new plug and try some of the suggestions on here to get the old one out.
A T-27 fits the screws that hold your derby cover on. Those are pretty small. My wifes 2002 Dyna's Primary drain plug is an Allen, not a Torx.

Default Drain Plugs

When you get the plug out, you need to do to the Harley shop or any hardware store and get a regular bolt to replace it with. My primary drain has a magnet on the plug so that you know if things are going south. If it is possible to get the one from Harley then that is your best bet. If not, just get a bolt with the same thread pitch and length. I personally wouldn't go through this more than once.

OK....it is a torx T27 and mine is stripped also. What was your solution? I am thinking of removing the whole side.

Just checked the primary drain plug on my 05 FXDL and its a T-30 torx. The drain plug on my 02 FXD is a T-40 torx, it's not the stock case either. But, the plugs are torx and are pipe thread plugs. I'd b uy two plugs one for the case and one to take to a hardware store and ask the questions of best removal tools and/or methods. Just my 2 cents.
