I am 99% sure it should be there. The 99-01 are the same, mine has the sensor. The only main difference by looking is that "half circle" looking thing sticking off your top sprocket, it is the trigger for the sensor.
Yeah totally didn't put 2 and 2 together on that. Whats the best way to insure I get all the pieces out? and should I just fork out the extra $80 to get the better of the 2 kits? the one that drastically increases oil flow and sump?
jslum, have you ever been in the motor before, or was all the work done by a wrench monkey?
The reason I ask is if you didnt have any large parts falling out from the broken guide, then I'm guessing the wrench monkey broke it the last time he changed your tensioners, and didnt bother replacing it.
And, are you sure you havent broken a valve spring with the lift on a se260 cam? Thats an awful lot of cam for normal riding on the street, and a little too much for a 95 build, unless youre a serious power monger and have a very thick wallet

Ive never been in the motor before. All the work was done by a Harley tech at the same time including the new tensioners. I'm not 100% on the cams that are in there I would swear he said they were 260 but they don't seem like it and wouldn't 204s be a more logical step up? but the 255s were in there and they were upgraded to larger ones. All the. Work was done shortly before i bought the bike. I have the 255 cams still along with the original tensioners and original guide in a jar of oil. Why take out the original guide and not put in a replacement?

I didn't know they made 2 different kits. Anyway, for your 99 model I would also pick up the Andrews gear sprocket to replace your existing one (lets you use the new chain setup as it has the trigger on it, the SE kit makes you use your old style chain on the 99-01 models, you can use the new chain with the Andrews gear) The Andrews part number is 216015, here is a link: https://www.denniskirk.com/140050.sk...utm_medium=cse
