Anyone have issues with their front fork tube leaking. Had mine fixed a year ago, leaking again, same spot. Mine is an 06 street bob.

no problems on my 06, who did the rebuild on them? all it takes a grit of dirt and that fluid will find its way out. not a hard project to tackle especially with winter right around the corner

 

well, i am told I need a new tube, i dont get it.

 

I was going thru forks seals left and right at one time, found a nick in the tube, used emery cloth to smooth it out, after that no probs. Never did figure out how the nick got there. Doesn't take much of a sharp edge to chew up a seal. Really had to look close at all sides to find it. Worth checking out. Hope this helps.

 

thanks, well my guy is getting me a new tube. Idk. I am going to examine my old one when I get it back.
