I am curious as to why so many people are using the same oil in all three holes. My service manual calls for the same in the trans and the primary, which would be way heavier oil than the engine. Thought?

I've been using Redline - they have a seperate blend for each hole. It's a little more expensive and I'm not sure if I'm gaining that much benefit - thinking of switching to Mobil 1 V-twin. Also, use HD chrome filter.

Lube specs must have changed in years after my '03. There are many 'Cautions' in one of my '03 manuals about not using engine oil in trans or primary. I use M1 V-Twin 20w-50 in the engine, Spectro 75w140 in my 5-sp trans, Formula + in the primary and HD oil filter.
