I just bought myself an 07 Street Bob and was wondering if I could install the the new Screaming Eagle slip on mufflers without having to remap the bike.

 

I have no experience with this but from what I have read, the answer is yes.

 

P, I was told by my stealer that I didn't need a download when I bought my '06 this summer, had them put the SEII's and high flow on.Yes, it has SEEMED that my bike has run fine.




You be the judge, does this end cap look like the bike is running fine? That isn't dirt on there. And yes I will be getting the SERT before next spring. Tim

 

From what I've read you can if you don't get a high flow air filter. If you get the air filter you will definitely need some kind of fuel management system. Some people recommend it anyway even with just a muffler change because these things are setup so lean to begin with. Am getting some V&H slipons for Xmas and will probably run it that way until I get a high flow air filter a little later. Bday in Feb. Then plan to get a fuelpak.
