Default 2011 WG recommendation lowering shock?

I would like to change my stock shocks to black on my 2011 Wide Glide. At first I was going to go Burly 10.5. I really like the slammed look, but I do not like all of the Clearence issues. So now I leaning towards Progressive 11" or even 12". Has any one had any issues using the 11" progressives? I know that the 12's will give a better ride. What are your thoughts on this...

Ohlins with black powder coated springs...

Might as well get shocks that actually work and can truly be tailored to your weight and adjusted to tune dampening, preload, length and rebound. The bike sags 1" lower when I get on to ride and has 2" of positive and 1" of negative travel.

Oh yeah, if you'd like to try a set of 12" Progressives I'll sell you the set I have for about 60% of cost new. They're chrome not black.

I would like to change my rear shocks to black. I am leaning towards the Progressives. I am not sure if I would go with the 412, 11" or 12". I really do not want to remove the top belt guard. What have you done with your Wide Glide without having any issues?

Aren't the wide glide shocks 12". If you are wanting the lower look I'd go with 11" Progressive's.

Stock shocks are 12.6 eye to eye.

You might want to verify that. The new Wide Glides have 12 inch shocks. The older Wide Glides had the 12.6 (12 5/8) shocks.

FXD, I would be interested in the Progressive shocks. I have an 05 WG and as long as they fit...are they the 412's???. Give me a price

If they fit a 2005 WG and they are the 412's I would be interested in buying yours...how many miles? Or are they new?
