no issues with the shocks is what i mean...even 2 up is fine without scraping...and yea the wideglide is 12.5 in shocks stock...i compared them to my buddy's SB... but i would still go with 11" or lower but your better off removing your guard they look like **** and your prob. gonna have it scrape with 11" or lower
If they fit a 2005 WG and they are the 412's I would be interested in buying yours...how many miles? Or are they new?
PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION 440 Series I.A.S. Shocks - FXD/FXDC/FXDWG [06-11] Model 440-4044C, 12" (Stock spec)
Purchased from OneStopMoto New in July. Had 1,500 miles of use on our '11 FXDWG when they came off last week. Normal wear & tear from fair-weather riding. Decided to go in different direction for suspension. Progressive will swap out springs to standard weight for nominal fee if you feel they are too heavy for your riding style.
They would be shipped in original box with all original documentation.
Wideglideride, do you have any issues with the tire and the wires inside the rear fender with the slammers? You said you removed the belt guard. Has the fender hit the belt?
I emailed progressive suspension asking them how low I could go without bottoming out during 2-up riding and they said that I could go as low as 11'' but I would have to trim the fender above the belt guard or else they would hit each other.
I asked them if I could just remove the belt guard and they said that I could hit the belt and possibly hit the belt and cut it.

yea the burlys say you have to trim also but i did not. I took off the belt guard and have not had any problems, and i have hit some big potholes. The roads are bad in PA for holes. and the wires and stuff are fine bc our wideglides only have wires running on the side not up top like the SB's do. Also i have my burlys slammed to the lowest setting. Of course they are alittle bit of a rough ride with my bare bones but its worth the look
