Default detail/wash kit black denim?

Today I decided to wax my hard leather bags heck of deference that made... Got me wondering what you guys use or recommend for a wash/ detail kit. My Fatbob is black denim. I have seen HD's kits but wasn't sure if they are worth it or it I could get something better elsewhere.

My buddy is the area manager for PPG Autofinishes and he says basically the only thing that should ever be used on any Satin finish is a plain good quality automotive soap and water. By no means should any wax or buffing product ever be applied as it will ruin the finish.

From what I've been told, windex is the best way to clean the denim paint. It's what I have used and it works fine.

I have used those detail spray cleaners on my black denim street bob. They don't actually make it shiny.

If your cheap a shot glass of vinger and distilled water in a spray bottle works great on the denim finish. Windex is good too, really cuts the grime.

I use Mequires quick detailer works great and you can use it on everything else on the bike. It leaves a little bit of a shine on the demin.

I use regualr old car wash soap and water and Meguiars detail spray inbetween.
I've had the bike for 5 years almost and it still looks as dull as when I bought it
