Could you point out where anyone said anything about being apologetic or sorry for being American or born on American soil? Because I'd love to see it.

For the most part, I supported your original post. Bottom line is it is hard to find products in certain areas that are 100% made in America. If I see something that is, I purchase it. If I don't, I don't search through hell and high water to find it. Am I less of an American for that? No. It doesn't make me better than you and the way you purchase things doesn't make you better than me.

Like I said before, this country was founded on the premise that everyone can have their own beliefs and opinions. I also wear an American flag on my uniform everyday so don't think I'm some liberal hippie who loves flowers and eats grass.

Like I ended most of my posts in this thread, good luck with your situation.

Hmmm....I should just take it....So someone sells you a Honda with Harley badges on it and we call it good?

I do have a choice, as does anyone else. I choose to buy a big Samsung tv. I choose to have vintage Japanese audio gear. If I didn't have a choice, I could send you my money and let you tell me that this chinese wrench is just as good as this Craftsman wrench and I should just take your word for it.

Is getting political going over the top? It depends on how serious you are about doing the right thing.

Every day, month, year we accept a little more and just take it. When is enough going to be enough? Americans constantly shoot ourselves in the back all the time. When did we all start thinking a Toyota is the only good car? When did we accept "customer service" all being located in India? When did we just accept rude behavior just to be done with the situation? While you are acting like I am overreacting and apologizing for being born in on American soil, I'll be over here trying to make people accountable.

Think you misunderstand my point. The product must be what was described. If not return it.

My point was of being USA made or not in general. Just because someone doesn't share your opinion on that front is just a choice and using politics I thought was going too far.

BTW if it came from Mexico is it American? or is the USA the only American country

I bought my bike from a redneck hippie.
Guys chill out...shop with a Harley credit card and you can exercise your right to deny the charge and explain your case. then as you earn points you can buy more parts from Taiwan. Hehe...
Support USA and all the countries with which we fraternize and treaty(thats Taiwan), AND bless our Heroes!

They actually aren't too bad surprisingly. I bought one just for the novelty and was kind of surprised.

The company handled it wrong cut and dry.

What they should have done was offered to send you a pre-paid return label to return the parts described wrong for a full refund or if you would still like the parts then offer you say a 15% discount on them to apologize for the error.

If they did that you would be praising them. Bad customer service for them for a few lousy dollars.

In this global economy stuff it could be that some of the components are made elsewhere then final assembly is in the US. Or they just lied to you. If you are happy with the product then just put them on. Is it worth the restocking tax, then re-purchase. It's up to you,it's your money. But if it's a good product and you like them just use them, and remember to never buy from this vendor again.
