Default Just a few questions

I got the day off tomorrow and I need to get some things done for the bike... Just have a few questions. Thanks in advance!

1. What is the best way to remove tank emblems?

2. Will this license plate bracket fit/work with the Harley LED under the fender brake light?

To remove the tank emblems:

Use your wife/girlfriend's hair dryer to soften up the glue. Don't get it hot enough that you'll ruin the paint around it.

Take fishing string, floss, or something of the sort, and run it between the paint and emblem and "saw" it off.

Use goo-gone or something like it to get the rest of the crap off the tank. Then clean and wax the tank to protect it.

I'd go out to the bike right now and spray some WD-40, Goo Gone or rubbing alcohol behind the emblems and let it soak overnight. That should soften up the adhesive and make them easier to remove tomorrow.

The paint is protected under the emblem, after its off chances are you will be able to tell where it was

A hacksaw blade or a hammer and a chisel would work pretty well, but if you don't want any damage to the paint I would use some ten test fishing line and warm up the area with a heat gun or hair dryer. Then as the earlier poster said use a sawing motion and it will come right off. Then goo-gone to remove the adhesive.
