Does anyone know if a 99 Wide Glide had a factory tach as an option?

I have bought a tach and bracket and am ready to wire it up. My service manual has a wiring diagram but before I splice into any coil wires, I wanted to know if the open plug under my tank might be for a tach.

I do not see any reference to this plug on the wiring diagram

Anyone have any suggestions on the best place to wire it up if the connector under the tank is not a tach hook up?

As far as I'm informed there's no plug to hook up the tacho.
How many wires and what color did you find at this connector?

As for the tacho: what kind of tacho do you want to install?

If it's a tacho similar to the one that's mounted to the FXDL/X/P in here's a way to hook it up:

 

It is a Drag Specialties tach.
The wires are a different color than your diagram but I do know where they go.

Green negative coil
Red and blue to one side of ignition switch
Both black wires to ground

Also, I do have a pink wire going into the speedo connector. It appears to be cut then spliced back together
