New Pipes Installed

I bought these baffles when I first installed my V&H BR 2-2 pipes because I thought my bike was was too loud to ride out of the neighborhood at 6AM. Was not at all happy with the sound or the install. Bike sounded like a 70's era VW Beetle.
The customer service was very good tho, nice guys there, they bent over backwards to help me, then completely re-did the install page after we went round and round. They got some free engineering out of me, but hey, if it helps the next biker, then all is good.
After a few rides I took them off and went back to the stock V&H baffles, now I just push the bike to a point 500yds from my closest neighbor before I start it each morning... kidding! The pipes have actually mellowed, or damaged my hearing enough, that they sound great now, I love them!

I got a ticket 5 min after installing some VH Sideshots so I switched to the quite baffles. I read posts that say there is not much difference, B.S. The VH site states the quite baffles are 3-5db quiter, what people do not realize is that a change in sound output by a factor of two is approximately a 3 dB change .So in normal talk, quiet baffles are half as loud. The pipes are much deeper, the crackle is gone and the pop on decel is greatly reduced. All that ripping crackle sound you like will disappear with the quite baffles.
Regular baffles: raw mean badass drag pipe sound
