that I can attach to my sissybar/luggage rack that can hold something to drink, jacket, and misc items for a day ride or even an overnight trip. No wanting to spend to much $ but want something nice ...
I have a bag that Velcro's around the bitch bar with a handle on top for easy hauling inside. It doubles as a back rest too when facing forward.
Kuryakin has some decent bags/luggage. Maybe check them out.
Harley makes a new day bag and also an overnight bag that slides over the sissy bar. I have the day bag and the tour pack and both are top notch quality and look great.
I have a T-bags Baja, slips right over your backrest and sits on the luggage rack or the passenger seat with two straps to secure it although they aren't really necessary unless you as going offroad. Not so cheap but a nice bag.
I'm using the ctb 500 mini tourer from Nelson Rigg. It's a great size and comes with a roll that snaps on top if you need it or comes with straps to hang it somewhere else on the bike, also comes with rain covers. I think I paid $180 last year for it. You can fit a couple days worth of stuff in it.

I use a Kuryakyn Ultra Tour bag that I picked up on Craig's List for $40.00 new in the box. It can fit more stuff than my buddy's tour pack on his Ultra and comes off in less than a minute.
