Last week there was a thread on these 2 exhausts, with dyno sheets,on the same bike. The fat cat won on peak numbers but the propipe had 15ft/lbs more torque off idle to 3500 rpm iirc.
The end result was if you are running wot all day buy the fat cat,but the propipe made more power in the mid-range.

Bet the pro pipe would have had better numbers if they unplugged it. They are monsters with the true pro baffle.
Do you think that would affect it's mid-range numbers though? I think if it was one or the other I would want the power in the mid range like it is right now. Unless power there would be unaffected, then unplug it.
I have a propipe going on my newly improved 106,with tw6-6 cams, ported heads with oversized valves.
Do you think I should take out the baffles. This thing is already gonna have crazy torque,I could afford to lose a little in the middle to get a bit more up top.

Shred,
My fxdb and my friends fxdb. Same dyno same tuner, cams, pipe, pc v, and intake. His pipe is plugged bc he likes a quiet bike. He got 88hp 98 tq. And a blip in the torque curve around 5500 rpm.
My bike unplugged pro pipe. 95hp 98tq. No blip. And pulls from the bottom to about 5800. It's louder but so fast and pulls hard.

Don't take out the baffle! Just cut the welds on the plug in the baffle. Than re install baffle. Just look up the end of your pipe. U will see the plug. When you remove the baffle you will see three weld tabs on the plug. Gently grind off the welded tabs, than remove it.
I got the pro pipe when it was dyno'ed they drilled two holes on the end cap of the baffle still wasn't enough so I zinged the whole cap off gained more power hurt the tq a little but gained the hp I needed.
