Default Real Wheel Opinions Wanted.

Ok, so it is time I put a new front wheel on my bike, I have really been torn on a few decision. I have a couple question and decisions to make.

1. 19" or 21": My 2006 FXDLi has stock 19" wheels, what are the pros and cons to going to a 21", who has 21s on their FXDL and whats your experience since switching.

2. I am considering RevTech wheels: Any experience with these wheels, I know they are not the most expensive option but it that a bad thing, should I just save $400 and go with the Harley wheel I am considering.

3. All Chrome or Black/Machined: This has been a real kick in the pants decision, having trouble really figuring which would be better.

I will post a Picture of my bike in its almost current state of mods, and the wheels I am considering and hoping for some good positive responses and help please.

Revtech Supercharger

Revtech Sinister 8

Harley Magnum 5

Please help me narrow this down and end the madness swirling in my head.

Oh and I guess it would help to mention that my rear wheel will be a solid rear off of a soft ail deuce.

i love the black/contrast cut look. chrome is just to plain for me. and that revtech supercharger wheel looks best of what you have listed. have you looked at any other aftermarket wheels besides harley and revtech?

performance machine, renegade wheels, colorado customs, roland sands, just to name a few.

and what are you planning to do with the wheels you have on it now?

I have, but $1200+ for a single wheel is really not what I am looking to spend, have too many other places taking my money already. Oh and I don't know what I will do with the stockers, they have some surface issues since the bike sat for a few years before I bought it.

what kind of issues? just cosmetic? if its only cosmetic id be interested in taking them off your hands since id be powder coating them black or having them nickel plated black/black chrome.

Yes just cosmetic, surface oxidation and such, same issue that plagues the lower fork sliders.

If I choose from that list, I'd have to pick Revtech Sinister 8 in CHROME. Whatever the choice, it has to be CHROME.

Any opinions on sticking with 19" or stepping up to 21", I would imagine there would be no need to change the front fender for a 21" correct?

I got some beauty's from Costal Moto. Good price and service. I think they are Performance Wheels. 16 inches and look great on Heritage. Good luck with it. Ride safe.

Prob more personal opinion here, but I feel the 19" is better for handling. Looks better too. Again, thats opinion. Contrast looks great, but def not a chrome guy here. If Mike650 doesn't take your wheels, shoot me a pm. I gotta lose my spokers.
