FXDF clutch cables

FXDF clutch cables
I searched alot and cant seem to find the answer. Does anyone know if the 08 fxdf cable is longer than the 11? The reason is I am putting 6 in pullback risers on my 11 fxdf and I read the cables are long enough on the 08 09 and 10 but they changed the 11 cable? thanks

Looks like the 08 fxdf and 11 fxdf use the same oem clutch cable, part number 38785-08. 60" long.
test fit the new bars and and test fit the oem cables. If they are too short, measure and buy what you need.

I just put LA Choppers 5.5" pullback risers on my 2011 FXDF Fat Bob which already has 35 degree Flanders drag bars and did not have to change the cables and still have a little play in them so I am going to say 1/2" more would still work. These are the ones I installed LA Choppers HEFTY RISERS

Pics attached below for you to see and decide for yourself but I would not think you needed new cables unless there is something more involved than just the risers height or pullback.
