not as of yet... this week our shop got flooded with customer bikes so i have been busting *** to get though them so i can get mine back up on the lift to work on it... i know it may sound dumb... but i am going to swap to ATF in the primary again, get the synthetic out... let it sit for a day and see what happens... i seem to be finding in my research that the 3rd gear issue is also related to a slipping clutch... so who knows i may get lucky re adjusting my clutch and swapping fluids
well got customer stuff done... tossed mine back up on the lift, put AFT in, swapped spring, and re adjusted the clutch... same issue, grinding in 3rd pulls hard though all the other gears... man! now to fix this... somehow
sucks i have to buy all the specialty tools to do this... thankfully chad (redrubicon) is going to give me a hand. never been in a HD trans! dont know anyone that has actually... running blind!
well... main shaft bearing removal/install tool, pulley lock, and pulley socket are all on the way... i looked inside the trans from the top cover and could not see anything wrong... i am guessing that it is my shifter drum... but tools are on the way... we will see what happens!
