I do, they work fine, and I really like having heated grips on a motorcycle.

I've used several pairs of H-D oem heated grips over the uears and I currently have a pair of on my FXDC shown in former threads.

Generally, they work very well although problems have existed with H-D grips in the past. They had issues with one or the other, left or right, stop working. H-D replaced most of these under warranty.

I've been using the pair I have now for over a year and had no problems.

The H-D grips work well when not malfunctioning. The heat is even and substantial.

The H-D grips feature a rotating on-off/intensity switch on the end of the left grip. It is a compact and convenient design that avoid issues of mounting controls on the handlebars.

The wiring schematic has three wires from the grips. A black wire goes to ground. The second wire is intended for direct to the battery and the third wire goes to switched power.

.
I recently had my bike service guy install a set and the wire coming out of the left side of the grip comes out lined up in between the hi-lo light switch and the left turn switch across the housing. This does not seem right to me and I think it should be lower at the bottom of the housing.

Where is your wire positioned.

thanks

I have them on my Springer. They have been on for about eight years. Never had a problem. They work great....

Gloves are good too. But how about those summer nights or even spring and fall. A little heat on the hands can go a long way....

Agreed. Thats why I suggest liners to friends. They go in any weight glove from the thinnest glove to thick heavy winter gloves. They also have temp adjusters and can be turned way down for a varity of conditions while not leaving the back of the hand without heat. Still, they are more work than flipping on heated grips, but not so much of a hassle to bother me.
