finished the 5th coat of the horn cover half hour ago, success! just took out all the paper and will leave it drying for the rest of the night and day tomorrow, will do the air cleaner tomorrow, is there a special phillips screwdriver size to remove it? or just a regular one?

I woke up this morning, and when I went to check on the air cleaner, the top was dry and smooth, but when i picked it up, the sides were not blacked out, didn't pray it enough because it had been laying flat on the floor, so i got a can of spray and put the cover on it so i could spray the sides, did 3 more coats on that, and came to work, should be ready when i get back tonight. Here's a video that might help you guys, i don't think it has been posted yet.

Tried out Rust-oleum's Peel Coat it's their version of Plastidip. Put it on my A/C and timer cover. It seems to be just as good as Plastidip and about the same price. I bought it at Autozone.

Been off of here for a while... Great thread... I did my entire fxdx in anthracite gray. did my lowers in the flat black. Been holding up very well.

Some pics are here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...2001-fxdx.html

Dip Your Car was a great learning tool... Did the lowers as my first project, then an air cleaner, then did the full bike. Tested on an extra fender the other day with the copper metalizer in a rattle can. Really debating buying a sprayer system just so much you can do with this stuff!
