I order my Amsoil and in 2 days it's arrived.
They also sell 5 micro oil filters that are as good as it gets.
I use the 20W50 in the engine and Primary
In the transmission I used their Servere Gear 75w90,
I just shifted to the servere gear 75w110 because I anticipate a hotter season comming up. Won't hurt. Super smooth shifts, no wear.
Im going to use Moble 1 In my new bike!! Soon as i get a chance im doing my 500 mile oil change with it! I hear really good things about and that what i use im my Muscle car and my car runs a tiny bit cooler with it! Also Moble 1 v twin is easy to get a hold of in stores compaired to Redline and amsoil...
here's my 2 cents worth:My first fat bob('09)went syn at 1000 mi and that bike used a bit of oil. This current fatbob('11) I did not go syn till after 3000 miles and the bike uses no oil.there may be other factors involved with this assumption, but I don't think you should go syn till at least 2500 mi.
What's wrong with ordering Amsoil or Redline? Orders are secure and you can have the products in 2-5 days. Order a couple of extra if you're worried about running out.
Regarding local purchases, any decent size Honda or Kawasaki dealer will carry Amsoil products on their shelves.
