Need to put my turn sig. back to the back strut hole (05 WG),don't like the looks of them on the tail light.I like the stock arm, nacelle, wing or what ever it called but it needs 2 hole's 1 for the bolt and 1 for the wire.I don't want to drill another hole either, has any one replaced the bolt for the hollow 1 to run wire through ?and has anyone cut down the wing so it sits alittle closer to the strut .I was thinking of cutting about an 1 1/2" off which I feel would look alot better. Can any one shed some light on this
Yep, use a hollow to run the wire through. Any dealer's parts guy can fix ya up. The turn signal connecter won't fit so you'll have to cut and splice the wire.
I don't have a clue on cutting down the mount. Seems like it might cause the chrome to peel. there are a gazillion after market mounts and sigs to choose from though. Maybe one of them will suit. At any rate, have fun and good luck tinkerin'
