Default Warranty item?

Would this be covered under an extended warranty?

Easy fix. My brake light was sticking last week. You just have to determine if its the switch or the master cylinder sticking,

Old thread, but just wanted to put out there that this fixed my 17 Fat Bob Switch. Changed bars and the brake lever wasn't coming all the way out. Cleaned the plunger with a little WD40 then threw some assembly lube in there. Works perfectly now.

Follow the video above and it'll work fine!

Bought a switch before seeing this thread and I think I'll hang onto it anyway.

Default Arkansas fix.

I put heated grips on my 06 Ultra. When finished, brake light stayed on all the time. Tried a bunch of stuff and made three trips to the HD shop. Ultimately, it came down to the front brake light switch wasn't sticking out far enough for the released brake lever to disengage it. I must have knocked the little rubber nipple off the end of the switch. Once diagnosed, I cut the pointy part of a plastic golf ball marker down to about 1/16 of an inch, trimmed the flat part to about a 1/4 inch diameter, then stuck the pointy part into the hole made by knocking the nipple off. Put some super glue on the flat part around the pointy part to keep it there. Should work for another 14 years.
