Other than the 11 inch progressives, the only mod I might consider doing to my bike now is some new bars. Z-bars are great and their relative the strait up narrow style pitched slightly forward. Roland Sands built a cover bike a few months ago that had a perfect set on it. http://www.rolandsands.com/thankyou.html
If any of you care to follow the link above, the bars I'm talking about can be seen on the Vintage bike and the El Borracho bike
......and maybe an easy on easy off, flat leather covered spring seat would be cool as well.
thanks phreak. I've searched the web for bars that I like and found no companies that sell them. Chica builds bars like this too, but I don't remember seeing any for sale at the time. Maybe I could send him a carton of smokes for a set.
Thanks for the Paul Yaffe link. That guy's stuff is so overpriced.
Iran these bars on for a short time. They were very comfortable, but being short, I had to use the pullback risers which didn't give me the "look" I wanted.
A shorter riser or none at all would look very cool with these bars.
I've changed over to a traditional drag style bar.
I think stock Bob rise is 10", so a set of 12" bars should fit just right
That top set in the link you posted is great Hogrida06. If I could only find a pair that matched those Roland Sands bars, I would probably buy them today.
