Lowering Kits for Dyna

my 08 fxd is lowered 1 3/4" in the back. ride is a little stiffer. but get used to it. I'm. 5'8" and I'm just right used "Tamarac" blocks. check out my pics. and. I don't have a problem with bottoming out.

here is my 03 with a Burly slammer kit in it, ride is a little more harsh but no fender rub, only issue i have is now is the loss of ground clearance, i have to watch obstacles more closely, speed bumps, potholes,etc. Other than that i love the kit and how it looks, not to mention how much more of a secure footing i have when i'm stopped.

My wife is 5' 2" so she got installed blocks on her 07 Streetbob to drop the back by 1". She rides solo and never got any trouble with this since 2007 (35,000 miles).
She just got a 240 wide tire kit installed a couple week ago, still with the same set of 1" drop blocks with no problems after 1000 miles.

I did the burly slammer kit and love it. I went 1 1/2 inches in the rear and 1 inch in the front and have no complaints. A little bit stiffer but I can hardly notice it. I recommend going with the burlys.
