The intiminators are a valving system. read about them here. I have them in another one of my bikes and they made a big difference. Inexpensive? Nope. Worth every penny? Yep! http://store.ricorshocks.com/category_s/60.htm
I've attached a picture showing the mounting points for the fairing on the left side of the bike. Obviously, they are duplicated on the right side.
Thanks but I cannot open the picture, receive the following message when opening:

Don't know why, sent message to the hdforum but not sure they do anything. Any possibility to send it me with http//?
The vin code GL is a FXDX which has the same forks as a fxdxt except for the required mount for the saddle bags and fairing, but like you say who cares since these items are hard to find anyway.
Just get a Rifle quarter fairing. It will fit the bike as is. Mine is a FXDX and that is what I have.
Bottom line it is a FXDX not a fxdxt.
PhotoRider, ealier you sent that link with the front fork details, which of the screws is for adjusting front suspension 21 or 22 or somewhere else? Back suspension is easy but front suspension not clear to me.
Thanks to everyone, think I take it as it is and will try to get a Rifle Roadster fairing, will start a new thread with regard to sissy bar and luggage rack ....
