Default help in positioning windshield

hi guys got a new windshield from H D for christmas for my dyna easy on easy off since this my first one im not sure where i should position it should i be looking over the top or should i be looking through the windshield and why thanks for your advice have a great day.

I prefer to look over the top. I like the unrestricted view, and the wind doesn't batter my helmet.

I had a compact detachable for my Bob, I played with it up & down to get where it seemed ok, but still got a lot of helmut buffeting and with glasses was not real cool above 70. Just switched to the Touring and really like it, did away with almost all the buffeting. It is about 2" above my line of sight, so I look through it, they only disadvantage was in rain, as it took getting over 45 to have it start self cleaning from the air movement at the top of windshield, where with compact the only thing I had to clean was my face shield on 3/4 helmut. Everyone I talked to, said to make sure you had it a little below your line of sight or above.

I think the rule of thumb is to have the top of the windscreen around the tip of your nose.

i positioned mine back in the box, and put it in the back of the garage. nothing worked to get rid of the buffeting it created except taking it off.
