The HD model uses the same technology as the V4 for sport bike application and includes a new top tree.

Either I have way too much preload, or I'm measuring wrong...I'm only seeing 1/2" difference in sag between bike on the jiffy stand, and bike upright with me on it. Maybe my feet being on the ground affects it?

I'm so pleased with the road feel and handling that I'm wary of making changes, but if I'm not getting enough sag, perhaps it could be even better.

This stuff:
3M 1080 Gloss Black Vinyl Car Wrap 1ft X 5ft (5sq/ft) : Amazon.com : Automotive 3M 1080 Gloss Black Vinyl Car Wrap 1ft X 5ft (5sq/ft) : Amazon.com : Automotive

It's freakin' awesome. Looks just like powder coat up close, but peels off if you want to change it or gets torn. I have it all over the bike. I did the bottom half of my chrome dust covers to match the black lowers. The upper half is hidden under the jammers. I used it to cover the factory VIN stickers on the frame. It's really hard to spot where it ends and the power coat begins. It's not super-sturdy, but holds up to light rubbing/abrasion. It will tear if you hit it with something hard, like a wrench. I also use it to protect power coat where cables rub, like my trees and risers.

The section between my trees gets marred by my fairing clamps, but I use the marks to line it up when I take it on and off.

peel back your covers and put a zip tie on the bottom of the exposed fork tube and then get on the bike and balance it without your feet on the ground. Then you can measure how much the zip ties moved. I had a feeling you had too much preload with your weight and the 1.0 springs. I kinda think the .96 would have been better for you but the 1's will work but you may have to cut at least another inch off. (after you check the sag with the zip ties)

Now that you have spent the money, you want to go the extra mile to dial it in. If it feels this good now...just think about what it could be. Keep us all updated.

Ah ha...got it. I'll try it that way and see.

Traxxion's choices were either .90kg or 1.0kg...nothing in between for single rate.

I'll post an update soon. Home sick today, so I won't be riding anywhere, but I might be able to convince my wife to let me sit on the bike long enough to get a measurement.

Hmmm, I thought they had a 96. But it won't really matter when you get the preload right...It ain't a light bike.

I edited my post..balance it with your feet OFF the ground
