I have the Accutronix kick back plates on my Dyna. They make it more comfortable and are worth the money to me.
Those look just like the plates that come in the OE relo kit. The kit comes with a new control arm that moves the brake lever back also. How did the relo with plate alone affect your brake lever?
[quote=FXDWG12;9786441]Thanks for your reply Brother. That saddle doesn't look to bad with the two-up pylon. I was thinking that the pylon seat may transition "OK" with the big back cushion of the reduced reach seat. I actually have that same pylon seat on order. I'm curious how you feel about being closer to the tank and bars? I tried scoouching up a bit in the saddle to get a feel of the reduced reach seat. And it kinda felt like I was sitting on the tank. The peg relo kit is a little pricy. But I plan on doing the install myself.
FXDWG12, i actually like being closer to the bars, i don't have to bend/lean forward as much. i do plan on getting some different drag bars that have a bit more rice, and a couple of inches more pull back... i find its more comfortable to sit upright. and i don't feel like i'm sitting on the tank, i actually feel like i'm sitting at the back of the seat, not being pushed onto the tank. everyone is different, you just need to find what makes you more comfortable on those long rides... i ride year around on different bikes, and do some 500 mile days... apperance is one thing, but in the end comfort wins out every time.
