I snapped a throttle cable on my 05 SGC, went to the local dealer and they don't stock it. They got a nice braided one for 50.00! Really I just want a standard cable, nothin fancy! You can have the bling, I want function! Anyone know where I can get one?

 

Did you ask them to do a dealer search? A good dealer would do that for you.

 

I can check here in Bellingham, carb or EFI?

 

Look around, you might find that an indy has one in stock.

 

That sucks. Is it a stock length? I can check at my dealer tomorrow.

 

Don't use that EFI word with Frank, he'll get upset! He's carbed.

 

Thanks for the offer guys. I've got one indy in town to check with on monday. Meanwhile I guess I'll get by with the return cable. I wonder how many upgrades to braided they sell by not having stock ones on hand?

 

Been there, done that lol! Nothing like being 100 miles from home when they snap. I have 2 spares hanging on the wall for just them occasions.
