Throttle cable snapped
Throttle cable snapped
I need to find a throttle cable for 98 883, stock handle bars have been replaced and are a little higher than originals. The local dealers did not have a "stock" replacement and i'm wondering how exact the fit has to be? Would another model be close enough to make it work? Dealer parts guys don't seemed to be real interested in giving advice.

Measure the length of the cable, and then look on the Barnett website.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Asking for a cable for slightly higher than stock bars is not being very helpful! Just take your complete cable in and ask them for a replacement. That takes away all the guesswork for them and you.
