anybody ever use frame clamps like for clutch cables instead of the accutronics gauge mount to relocate gauges? there a lot cheaper just wondering if it will work

I just did that on mine. Clamps are $12.95 each, the Accutronix mount is ab out $100 or so. Here are a few pics.

You need the tach and the bracket for the speedo and tach. I am not sure where it plugs in but it can't be that difficult to do.

Here is a thread ab out doing it.
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...er-needed.html

and here is a list of part numbers.
67121-95 gauge gasket
48073-04 dual gauge clamp
2361 screw (2 each, to hold tach into above clamp)
72131-04 socket housing, 12-way(gray)
72189-04 seal pin (10)
74196-04 terminal, socket (14)
74197-04 socket lock, secondary, 12-way

seal pin (10) & terminal, socket (14)....quantity is listed for both gauges, count the pins on the gauge to see how many you will need for the tach.

Where can I get black ones? I've only seen Chrome. Anything special you had to do to mount them (rubber on the inside or anything like that?
