Headlight bulb life
How long is everyones headlights lasting? I had to replace my bulb a little over a year ago, and now its burnt out again. seems kinda premature to me but what the heck do I know?

I couldn't disagree more. I installed mine late June 08' and it's still going strong. Granted I don't use the high beams because the spot lights are tied into the low beams. (which gives me more light than hi beams alone)
Also installed them in my pick-up & wifeys car in 09 and haven't had 1 blow yet.
But I read all the time they don't last as long. Guess I'm just lucky.

I usually get about a year out of my high beam (HD hi output), which is on all the time. Just a couple of weeks ago I had the high beam burn out at 9:30 at night. Switched to the low beam and it burned out 20 minutes later. I rode the next 40 miles home with the 4 way flashers lighting the way. I've since added auxiliary lights.

Using an HD bulb, but it is higer output than the original bulb. I might go back to the oem bulb if it is gonna last longer.
Stock lightbulb halogen 2007 & still running. When you do replace one you have to make sure you don't touch the bulb or it won't last long.
