Helmets or No Helmets
I think too many people underestimate the damage even a non-moving fall to pavement can cause. I once fell to concrete from an old 8' wooden ladder when the rung under my feet snapped. My feet were less than 6' from the floor. Dislocated a shoulder and broke two metatarsal bones. Thankfully I didn't hit my head. Still...6' fall and my shoulder was really never the same again. 'Course, they're both metal now, but that was a different class of hit... Bones and flesh can be me mended in miraculous ways but brains are a different animal.
Sure, some people get lucky. Some people survive lightning strikes and falling from airplanes, too. I'm not willing to put that much trust in luck.

This Arai is still in the works, gonna mod it a bit from the current but man, in the sunlight, nobody can stare at it for more than a second, it's a ball of the Sun on Earth!

We are forced by law to use helmet ... any DOT will do the job, but ive been using full face helmets since 1998 until last november starting our summer (which started very very hot) were i switched to a bobber one (HJC IS5) ... i will use it until temps get little lower and will come back to my full face until next hot weather season ...
