I love to drag pegs and admit to being a lefty (probably cause i'm from Australia).

I swapped out the stock units for sport bike pegs on my mid-mount ride. The pegs have feelers - I prefer to feel metal touch the ground rather than rubber (from the stock pegs). I'm also thinking of changing out feelers with titanium bolts. This is not my video, nor am I in it, but this would be the effect http://vimeo.com/15096071

I use to scrape the left a lot more than the right but that was because my stock exhaust scraped long before my peg did on the right hand side. The lower muffler of the stock exhaust has a flat spot on the bottom from the number of times I'd drag it. With the new pipes, I'm about 50-50.

Always favored the left. On my FXDC the left peg hits first (wore it down) so that is OK with me.

But to the right it hits metal, but unlike lighter bikes I rode four decades ago there is no fear of "high siding"; just sparks.

These bikes handle really well, but they are low to the ground. Preloading the suspension all the way helps if you love to play.

Im a right side scraper. Have touched down both sides plenty, but way more often and harder on the right with both the heritage and now vrod. I'm more comfortable going way down the right side, leaning far left feel awkward to me.

Came into a big righthand sweeper over the weekend too hot. Felt awesome and perfect until the right peg totally plowed pavement hard. I had misjudged the odd camber of the road more than the radius of the turn, but still had plenty of headroom to make it work.
