The first week I had the Low Rider I kept throwing it hard into the turn trying to scrape the peg and then I remembered I have forwards. I'm an idiot. Haven't scraped a danged thing.
I have forwards, and every now and again I lean the Glide over enough to hit the wear bolts on the bottoms of my Kury switchblades. Passengers hate it!
I've also learned that when I pull out of my development, into the left turn, I have to hit second early in the turn, or wait till I straighten out. I've discovered with the heel hammer I need a certain amount of clearance to upshift.
