Default Wrapped "Tommy Guns"--Who has them?

I have just purchased a set of slip on's for my '12. They are black and I have the chrome heat shields and thinking that will not look good at all. Has anyone just wrapped their heat shields on the whole system? Just wondering if I should remove them and wrap away...?

Pics would help me decide as well. Thanks in advance.

Have the heat shields powder coated to match. It will cost less to do than wrapping em and your pipes will last longer.

Do not powder coat them... Jet Black Ceramic Coat is the way to go

Powdercoat is expensive around the Chicago area. I am looking into Ceramic Coats, but that is only rated at 1200*. I think it should be fine since it is OFF the pipes anyways and they are just heat shields.

An even better deal is here:
http://www.cpcpowdercoating.com/thermal2.html

They are ceramic coating the heat shields, with a warranty, for $50!

I think wrapping them would look f'ng cool. Thought about that with my TG pipes until I went to another system. I'd say go for it.

Look up Specialty Coatings in West Chicago, not expensive and does good work.
