One day i parked my bike next to a baby pink Fat Boy, automatically i thought chick's bike, as i got off of my bike there was a guy about 6'4 250-260 , i asked if it was his bike, he said it was, i asked him why did he ride a pink bike, he said "because i can" Moral of the story- ride what ever you want, how ever you want it.
If a guy wants a windshield he can have a windshield, he was not being a douche when he asked for help, i thought that's what the forums were for- people sharing ideas and helping one another, Carpe, sift through all the macho and spelling police bull$hit and you'll find helpful answers.
Thanks to all who have offered input so far on this topic, I certainly appreciate it.
For those who have chosen a 1/4 fairing, is it easy to remove when the rider doesn't want it?
Yeah, you can set them up with the quick detach brackets, lots of guys do it. They also have extended lips for the shield or taller shields for more wind blockage.
I made one of these out of an old windshield. Ran it for part of a summer. Worked great to keep the wind pressure off my chest and most of the bugs out of my teeth. Just an idea.
Careful, you do know kiddie **** is illegal right....

"A twenty-year-old guy named Taylor,
Took a high school girl parking to nail her.
But she wasn't of age
And her folks, in their rage
Called the cops. Taylor now has a jailer."
+1, if you want a windshield, get a windshield. People can say whatever they want, at the end of the day, you ride a bike for you, not because people on an internet forum said they thought you were cool or not. Opinions are like ********, everyone has one, and I have two, or errrrr something like that. lol
