I need a torque value? Handlebar Clamp Bolts.

What does the service manual say for a torque on the clamp bolts that hold the handlebars on?

as tight as ot takes to keep them from moving. if you have taller bars the clamp will need to be tightend more due to the added leaverage of taller bars

What he said do them up tight and them some more if you have high Apes you could need a little more to stop them moving or thats what i did and there fine as long as you are using good clamps and bolts with good thread on them both you will be ok.

I tighten until I think a blood vessel in my neck is going to pop. Then I stop, take a few breaths, wipe the sweat from my brow and do it again.
