Default 2012 Switchback

Hello everybody just picked up my switchback last week.
I traded in my 1200 Roadster and I have got to say this new Switchback is a great bike.
So much smoother than my 1200!

I need some information. The bars on my Switchback are some what comfortable but I would like them back about an inch. I have asked the dealers ser. mgr. about maybe putting a set of Heritage bars on it, he stated that the bike is to new. He did not know if they would work. Only other option is risers. Do not want to pay 120.00 or so for just two pieces of chrome metal. Has anyone changed thiers out. I ride with a 1/2 helet with a visor. Get some buffing from the wind. Hopefully taking the visor off it will help. Still breaking mine in, just under 400 miles.

Heritage bars will definitely work. Have a friend who is running them right now and it looks great

I have a new switchback and wear a 3/4 helmet. i started getting a lot of buffeting obove 55mph. I put a 16 inch Clock Werks shield on. Not perfect but much better than stock. Five foot seven and sight is one inch above windshield.

Default switchback

I have had mine for a year and still enjoy every ride on it. I did the SE aircleaner on it and left the stock exhaust. The stock air cleaner cover had to go. I also have a badlander seat for bar hopping.

Default Air Cleaner

What is the part # of the air cleaner that you have on your bike. I like the looks. I still have the stock one with my SE kit.

The cover I bought at a second hand shop and the mounting plate I made myself at work. There was a sticker at on time in the recess but was lost. Flat black paint to cover that. What it came from I have no idea.
