Default 2008 Super Glide Custom

I am about to purchase a 2007 Super Glide Custom, in Pewter Pearl. Does anyone know what changes there might be to the 2008 model?

Also, would appreciate any help in chosing accessories for this bike. Chrome pieces, pegs, hand grips, etc. Photos would be welcomed!!!

Thanks so much!!

Considering the major engine change for 2007 and the fact that the MoCo stays pretty tight lipped about any changes at all, If there are any we won't know till the end of summer when they announce the 2008 bikes.

As others have already replied, it's doubtful there will be any significant functional changes for '08. However, nobody will be able to provide any definitive answers until the dealer announcements on July 13th.

But there are folks who will tell you that they have it on the word of a friend,( who has a friend, who has a cousin that is sleeping with a chick who once slept with a guy) whose uncle works for Harley, that there are going to be changes. So take what you hear with a grain of salt.
Welcome to the forum. I can't help you with the accessories for the Superglide too much, but the sky is the limit. Enjoy the bike.

Going to water cooled, 4 valve per cylinder, Dual over head cam (DOHC), 1130 cc.....oh wait, we already have that...nevermind....[&:]

no change on the Air cooled 96's until 2011 when the EPA approval runs out IMHO.....

After 2011, the EPA want's all H/D's to be Revolution, i.e. V-Rod powered, but HOPEFULLY that can be avoided....

Personally, ifI wanted a bike, I would just go and buy it.

I'm not the type to sit around and wait for the next years models just in case it's a little better than this years.

It's different if you already own a bike and can just enjoy that one for another year, but I wouldn't be too concerned that the 2008s will have a drastic change.
