Default Fat Bob Question

When I purchased my bike a few years ago, I had a detacheable sissy bar installed. I want to remove it now, but have a silly question....With the mounting hardware that was installed, were there different bolts that were on the bike before the kit was installed?? The current bolts are longer to accomodate the detach hardware....Is the removal process as simple as removing the current bolts, taking off the detach hardware and replacing with original bolts??

I always save my original parts, but I see no other bolts and I cannot remember what was done....

Thanks!

yes its that simple......when putting on the detachable hardware , longer bolts are used to accommodate the exposed mounts for the side plates... remove those bolts and mounts and replace with the shorter bolts into the same backing hardware behind the fender...
